6th Annual Evergreen Lake PlungeTake the Plunge – If You Dare. At high noon on New Years Day at Evergreen Lake, snow or shine, you too can jump into the cool waters for an invigorating Plunge! You’d be joining several local personalities, some more notorious than others, in their New Year’s Day bath in the icy Rocky Mountain waters. This event is a fund raiser for Drive Smart and the Evergreen Parks and Recreation District Special Needs Program. The event is a partnership with Drive Smart, Evergreen Fire/Rescue, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, and Evergreen Park and Recreation District (EPRD). Registration is $30 per person ($40 day of event). Parking will be at Evergreen High School, with a shuttle running to the lake.

Anyone under 18 will need written parental permission (waiver). Click here to print a waiver.
A 10-foot by 10-foot area, six feet deep, will be cut out of the ice and equipped with platforms and ladders. Jeffco Sherrif’s Department will supervise. People will be able to jump in ‘heats’ (no pun intended). What do you get for $30 you might ask? Well, you get bragging rights (priceless) and a commemorative event shirt. The event is MC’d by Alan Gionet from KCNC Channel 4 and Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Sheriff Ted Mink.
If you don’t want to take a dip with the rest of them, you can pay to watch those wild, woolly characters jump in!
CLICK to make a pledge for your favorite jumper, or perhaps your boss!
Want to participate? Single registration: $30 - Family of 4 registration: $100 - team of 10 registration:$225.
REGISTRATION IS INCOMPLETE UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED.
Online Registration closes at midnight on 12/30/12! Walk-in registration is available at the lakehouse on January 1st.
