Our Mission
DRIVE SMART develops partnerships with schools, businesses, civic, community and governmental organizations to educate, create awareness and improve attitudes concering safe and courteous driving in our mountain communities, resulting in the reduction of traffic related injuries and fatalities.
Vision
DRIVE SMART’s VISION is to educate community members on choosing safe and courteous driving as a way of life in our mountain communities.
DRIVE SMART began service to the Evergreen and Conifer communities in 1993. Since that time, we have gained the confidence of countless local civic and business contributors and volunteers. These supporters believe that we get results that make a difference.

SKATE the LAKE Winter Fest
DRIVE SMART puts on a special alcohol-free, family inclusive, New Year’s Eve event each December 31st at the Evergreen Lake House. The entire community comes together for a fun-filled night of ice skating, music and two fireworks shows! We rely on a multitude of volunteers to make this event a success.
